At Home Instead, we believe that great care starts with great Care Professionals. We’re looking for a warm, personable, and organized Caregiver Interview & Hiring Coordinator who enjoys connecting with people, conducting interviews, and helping caregivers find meaningful work caring for seniors.

This is a hands-on, relationship-focused position—not a corporate recruiting or HR management role.

The ideal candidate has experience in the home care industry, understands what makes a great caregiver, and can recognize the qualities that lead to excellent care. You’ll help welcome new Care Professionals to our team and make sure candidates feel valued, supported, and informed throughout the hiring process.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews with prospective Care Professionals.
• Connect with applicants in a friendly, professional, and engaging way.
• Evaluate candidates’ experience, reliability, communication skills, and compassion for seniors.
• Help identify caregivers who are a strong fit for our clients and company culture.
• Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and next steps throughout the hiring process.
• Guide candidates through the application, hiring, and onboarding process.
• Maintain accurate candidate information and follow up promptly with applicants.
• Build positive relationships with new hires and help create a welcoming experience.
• Partner with the team to meet caregiver hiring needs and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Represent Home Instead with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in home care, senior care, or a related caregiving environment.
• Experience interviewing, hiring, onboarding, or working directly with caregivers.
• A genuine passion for working with people and helping others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to recognize compassionate, dependable, and qualified caregivers.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• Comfort managing multiple candidates and keeping the hiring process moving.
• A positive, welcoming personality and a professional approach.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn scheduling and hiring systems.

Home care experience is required or strongly preferred. Candidates with hands-on caregiving, home care office, caregiver staffing, or caregiver coordination experience are encouraged to apply.
